I am proud to work with some of the UK’s best known and respected funeral directors and celebrants, from single branches to large chains. I love working with other funeral professionals to improve the quality of options and offerings to families and continue the seamless, compassionate service that they provide.
Below are some of the most commonly asked questions. If you have any others, or you or a family in your care would like to work with use, please just get in touch. I’d love to hear from you.
Do you work with us or the family?
Either! My preference is actually to work with the family directly, if you and they are happy with that. It normally means I can get the best, and fastest, result for the family, and saves you to-ing and fro-ing. Usually, a funeral director will introduce me to a family through an email, copied to both parties, and I liaise with the family directly from there. Alternatively just let me know that you’ve asked them to call me, or pass their details on and I’ll gladly get in touch with them. I can keep you informed as much or as little as you like throughout the process. Of course, if either party would prefer the communication is through yourselves, we are more than happy to do that too.
What are your turnaround times?
I ask for a total of 6 working days prior to the funeral. With this timescale it enables me to allow a full working day’s grace between the scheduled delivery date and the service, to give peace of mind to all parties that everything is there in good time and looking exactly as it should be. I understand that in some circumstances this isn’t possible and if you have a shorter timeframe available than this, please get in touch and ask – if I can turn it around faster, I absolutely will! I know there are people who can do it far faster, and cheaper, but my focus is very much on quality. You can see an illustration of my timescales here.
How do I/the family supply our content?
You can order products and upload content for families directly through each of the product pages on this site. If you have a bespoke order or would prefer to place your order by email, please get in touch at welcome@suziewhite.co.uk
Can we have our logo included?
Absolutely. If you would like your logo to appear, please send a vector file or high resolution JPEG on your first order along with details of any other wording you’d like alongside it. My logo will appear discreetly on the back cover.
Do you invoice us or the family?
For orders through Funeral Directors, unless you or the family request otherwise, I will invoice you for the items so that the family can have it added to the Funeral Package. I offer 30 days credit to Funeral Directors as standard.
What commission do you offer?
I offer commission of 15% as standard. I invoice Funeral Directors after completion on 30 day credit terms, nett of your commission. For celebrants, you are welcome to the same level of commission but as you will not be involved in the payment side of things you will need to invoice me to claim the commission should you wish to. Please note that for orders where both the Funeral Director and an independent celebrant are involved, the commission is payable to one party only – by default this will be the Funeral Director who is handling the payment, unless both parties agree otherwise.
Can the designs be tailored to suit the family’s wishes?
Yes of course. Many families wish to make small changes to the standard design of their chosen booklet to personalise it and suit their content. There is no additional charge for this – it is all part of the service. For families seeking significant changes to the design or something fully bespoke, I am very happy to help – I love helping to bring their vision to reality. In these instances I do always need to speak to the family to understand their brief, in order to ensure I achieve their vision as smoothly and accurately as possible. Prices for bespoke designs start at £245 – I will provide a quote based on the family’s individual requirements.
Is your printing done in-house?
No, to achieve the beautiful quality and range of finishing processes that make my products look their very best, I outsource my printing to a wonderful printing house with state-of-the-art machinery, who take care of ensuring that everything is beautifully produced.
How sustainable are your products?
My packaging is plastic free and my main courier is DPD, who are carbon neutral. As my products are designed to be treasured as keepsakes long beyond the service itself, they are produced using the finest materials and finishing processes, often including laminates, to give them superior quality and durability. However, all of my Order of Service designs are available on fully recycled card and paper (and without laminates) where requested, for no additional charge. Photo Boards also have eco options available. Please do let me know if you have a family who would like this.
