These Terms of Business were published in June 2026 and apply to all orders made thereafter.
They form the basis of your contract and you should therefore read them carefully. Your contract is with The Suzie White Studio (‘Suzie White’, ‘Suzie White Stationery’, ‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’, ‘I’, ‘me’), trading from 193 Battenhall Road, Worcester WR5 2BU.
1. Definitions
The terms “I”, “my” and “me” refer to Suzanne White, trading as The Suzie White Studio (and also known as Suzie White Stationery), which is run from 193 Battenhall Road, Worcester WR5 2BU. The terms “you”, “your” and “the customer” refer to you, the person making the purchase. The term “the Service” means the design, production and supply of the items being purchased.
2. Placing your Order
Orders can be made in person, by phone or by email.
Upon receipt of your order I will send you an invoice for the full price, full payment of which is required within 14 days. Payment should be made by BACS, details of which will be outlined on the invoice. Payment of the invoice will bring into existence a binding contract, which is subject to these Terms of Business (which override any terms on any document emanating from you). Any later invoicing date within the design or delivery process is at my discretion.
3. Commencement of Work
No work will commence on your order until payment is received, nor will any order be placed on your behalf with any of my suppliers. Once payment has been received, a PDF proof of all personalised elements of your order will be prepared and sent to you by email. Any work undertaken prior to payment is at my discretion.
4. My obligations to you
(i) I agree to produce stationery of the agreed quantity and in accordance with the design you have selected, following your approval of your PDF proof. In any handmade or hand finished items, there may be minor differences. These are not to be considered a fault.
(ii) The items will be sent in secure packaging. Please note that the stationery is at your risk following despatch.
(iii) My maximum liability to you will be the return of all money paid by you. In particular I shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses or damages.
5. Your obligations to me
You agree that time for payment is at the heart of this contract and therefore;
(i) that I shall not be bound to start production or design of the stationery until full payment is received;
(ii) that I shall not be liable for any delay caused by late payment;
(iii) that the delivery date will be extended by a period equivalent to the extent of the delay in payment.
(iv) I reserve the right to charge you interest on a daily basis at the rate of 6% above Minimum Lending Rate from time to time for any period of delay in payment.
You agree to check the stationery and notify me within 24 hours of receipt if you believe the products are not of a proper quality. By failing to do so you forfeit any rights to any applicable refunds, amendments or compensation.
6. Amendment of Orders
I shall be pleased to accommodate additions or changes to your order. However, please note that no refund or exchange can be made for items that have been already produced, or materials that have already been purchased. In the event of changes during the design or personalisation process (for example, but not limited to, changes to your required wording or choice of photographs), I reserve the right to charge an additional, reasonable fee for the duplication of work involved. Should your additions or changes incur extra costs, full payment of such costs must be made by you before work by me will recommence.
7. Cancellation of Orders
If you wish to cancel your order you must do so in writing. I regret that no credit or refund can be offered for any items once design work has commenced. For cancellations prior to commencement of design work, a refund will be made to you by BACS within 7 days of your written notice of cancellation. However, I reserve the right to charge an administration fee of £25.00.
8. Copyright
The copyright in all stationery produced by me will remain with me in perpetuity. You may not reproduce any part of the stationery without our consent.
9. Cooperation
The parties agree to cheerful cooperation and communication for the best possible results.
10. Applicable Law
This contract will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English Law in all respects and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction to deal with any disputes. These conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer as defined by the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 or the Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts Regulations 1999 or any statutory modifications or amendments of those Acts.
11. Marketing
I may use quotations from any written correspondence you send to me for marketing/testimonial purposes. If you do not consent to us doing this, please advise me in writing at the time of confirming your order. I may also use images or photographs of your order for promotional and marketing purposes. If you prefer me not to do this, please let me know at the time of placing your order.
